At W11 Therapy in South Granville, this is a 60-minute appointment with a registered acupuncturist licensed under the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, at $130 excluding GST. Acupuncture is not a treatment for menopause and is not a substitute for medical care. Menopause is a medical transition, and decisions about it - including whether hormone therapy is right for you - belong with your physician. Some people find acupuncture a worthwhile complement to that care; the research is mixed and still developing.
